Health club expansion for Global Messaging

Global Messaging, a trading name of I-Comm Media Services, has completed its text messaging services product launch into the health club sector.

The company has recently merged with Doncaster-based telecoms company Octal Telecom, and has developed a dedicated SMS and multimedia marketing platform for health clubs. Over £50,000 has been invested in systems, resilience and security features to ensure the safe use and storage of customer data.

Global Messaging already has contracts with brands including Fitness First, Greens Health & Fitness and Courtneys and the newly designed site is said to have been created to offer a unique and innovative means whereby clubs can communicate with prospects and customers.

It introduces well established products from other industries, such as Bulk SMS, Shortcode lead generation and Premium rate competitions, along with WAP Push, Multimedia messaging and i-Mode allowing full interaction with a client.

Marketing with text, pictures, sounds, video clips and animations to mobile phones provides the ability for recipients to post back information, book training sessions and classes and keep up to date with fitness and health tips.

The company's short term future plans involve it continuing to invest resources into the leisure and entertainment industries, with continuous improvement on the existing messaging systems.
